We are entirely independent, representing the broad Islamic ethos and traditions of our membership, through dynamic leadership that fulfils our organisational mission.

As a national umbrella organisation, our efforts are broadly divided into three overlapping directions. Locally, we support our affiliates to reach their goals; nationally, we offer a representative voice in external circles; and globally, we campaign for wider communities, including bringing focus to human rights issues.

Our work makes a meaningful impact in the everyday lives of Muslims in Britain and overseas. Challenging bias, lobbying against human rights breaches and striving for a fairer society both home and abroad.
